Welcome to the web site for the North Dakota NASA Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) program! This NASA-funded program, which works in conjunction with the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium, is working to enhance and expand NASA-relevant research and technology development within North Dakota. Guided by NASA's new Vision for Space Exploration and the 2006 NASA Strategic Plan, the ND NASA EPSCoR program is working to provide research university faculty and gsraduate students with opportunities that will:
- Encourage the development of NASA-relevant research programs that can eventually be funded through NASA's normal grant programs.
- Develop research focus areas (RFAs) in North Dakota that offer the promise for significant expansion within the state.
- Provide opportunities for graduate student research that will encourage students to pursue NASA-relevant degrees and employment.
- Improve the scientific and technical research capabilities at North Dakota's educational institutions.
- Develop NASA-relevant aerospace industry in North Dakota.
