Dr. Paul S. Hardersen is the Director of the North Dakota NASA EPSCoR program. He hs been the director since August 2006 and is responsible for the administration, oversight, strategic planning, proposal evaluation, and conduct of the program. Dr. Hardersen is advised by a 13-member Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), which provides advice and suggestions concerning the direction of the program.

Dr. Hardersen is currently an assistant professor in the UND Department of Space Studies. He is also director of the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium and manager of the UND Observatory. He has been a member of the UND faculty since August 2003.

The ND NASA EPSCoR program has been serving North Dakota since 1999. Previous program directors include Dr. Robert Andres and Dr. Shanaka de Silva.

In addition, Carla Kellner serves as the administrative assistant to the ND NASA EPSCoR program and assists Dr. Hardersen in programmatic, administrative, and budgetary tasks.

This program is also part of the larger North Dakota EPSCoR program (http://www.ndsu.edu/epscor/), which coordinates and oversees all of the EPSCoR programs within North Dakota.
